Having gained an HND in Clothing Design & Manufacture from Cardonald College, Claire Louise Hamilton went on to Manchester Metropolitan University and acquired a 1st Class honours degree in Clothing Design Technology.  Her first collection was showcased in November 2008 in Glasgow’s independent boutique, Che Camille.

In recognition of her technical ability and best-seller status, Claire was selected as one of the ‘Glasgow Ten’  – an elite team of resident designers (Che Camille) excelling in design and production.

Inspirations come from many things including bold shapes and patterns, silhouettes, and even fairytale to ensure her garments capture an element of playfulness.  She teams her designs with unique fabrics and trimmings creating garments that have a vintage presence with a modern twist.
